New Year's Resolutions

Steelers Gnome - Day 1 of 365

  1. Start a photography project (one photo of the Steelers Gnome a day for 365 days)
  2. Do some spring cleaning and get rid of stuff that I don't need anymore
  3. Dress more appropriate for work (I usually just wear jeans and a polo for work, not anymore baby)
  4. Finish several home projects.
Well, that about does it, I don't think I really want to tackle much more seeing that this is my first year doing this.

I started my photo project early (yesterday), if you would like to watch my progress on this please checkout my photos on Flickr, more specially at Project 365 - Gnome A Day.  Thanks.

I'm taking a year off from worry for peace of mind. This will be my one year of peace. No worries this year, plenty of time for that in 2010.

Chronically on time, I'll show up late because I can't be rushed into anxiety about lateness. I am going to drive the speed limit, the pace I want, without worrying about those behind me who want to triple the limit. I'll pull over and let them by.

I'm going to let people in front of me in the grocery line - well, I do that anyway.

Everything will be ok, I can take a year off of trying to make everything right because it's not really my job. Maybe if the kids and colleagues fail at a few things, I'll have less to do in 2010 because others can and will pick up the pace.

I'm going to pick a day and stay in bed watching TV all day, accomplishing nothing at all.

One year of peace - just the thing I need. Thank you God.

Sounds like a good plan. I would modify it slightly though. Instead of going to the grocery store you should have your groceries delivered. Then you really won't have anything to worry about. Checkout Peapod if you live in the Maryland area, they rocked at delivering groceries.
